Materials: All Students must Arrive in Show Shirt, Black athletic shorts, and long black socks. Instrument and all parts.
Notes: Students will change into Uniforms at the event. If uniform jackets are not in, students will march in the track pants, show shirt, band shoes, and long black socks. Students must eat during their two hour break and rides must be secured.
Expectation: All Knightpride Bandsmen are expected to carry themselves with the highest standards of excellence and class. We will be focused, prepared, and always leave places better than we found them. This event in particular should be a night of not only highlighting our program but displaying humbleness and support to the other Howell Schools. While other bands perform, only positive comments can be uttered. Cheering for the other bands is a must. And thanking any parents, staff, or students of the other schools in encouraged.

A few reminders and announcements.
This week there is no rehearsal due to Missouri Activities dead week. I encouraged section leaders to get together with their sections to either practice or get to know each other better.
I will be in the office all day Wednesday through Thursday. We have a team working to create stl metro8 packets and another group working on the storage closet on Wednesday. Contact Emily Weaver if you are able to help.
All forms are (especially the physical) by the first day of band camp July 17th.
I need all new members and section leaders at our Freshman Camp July 12 – 14th 8-Noon. I also need as many bandsmen there as possible. Last year we had almost the entire band. Let’s replicate that.
Section Leaders. There are a few students that are signed up and have not made any contact with us since. This is the week to get a yes or a no from them so that we can get them hooked up or adjust and move on.
I will have the camp documents finished by tomorrow and post them here and on the website. They will line out what is expected, required and happens at each camp as well as how after school rehearsals are structured. I am in the process of building a band handbook that is desperately needed. It will take me some time to complete it.
Someone please post this to the website and email on charms when they have a chance.
