Okay folks! We are down to the wire. Couple more things to do still!
1) All students bring their instruments tomorrow May 11th. We will be rehearsing for graduation. This is a mandatory event.
2) Senior Song Band: Includes all band seniors plus Grant, Cole Hayse and Grace Sickendick. We will rehearse
Monday May 22 @ Noon-2pm
Tuesday May 23 @ 9-10am
Wednesday May 24 @ 9-11am (w/choir)
Friday May 26 @ 9:30am. We will meet at the band room load cars with instruments and rhythm section and caravan to the family arena. Rehearsal at the arena is from 10:30-Noon (Family arena soundcheck)
Thursday June 1 @ 11-Noon
Friday June 2 @ 11-Noon
Performance will be during graduation on June 3 at the family arena. (Will have an itinerary)
3) Graduation Band (all non seniors) This includes all marching band students that were not able to be in a band class. This should be a huge
Band. This is a mandatory event. We will begin rehearsals in class time. We will also rehearse

Performance will be during graduation on June 3 at the family arena. (Will have itinerary.)
I will need a parent volunteer or two to help us in the morning by driving the trailer with equipment to the family arena for the graduation band. I will work out the details of our load in time and add it to the itinerary.
4) Saturday Knight Live Band: May 12 @ 6:30pm Ian Perry Jacob Lintner Emily Hardin Zane Balleydier Stacey Sickendick Seth Mathews Johanna Rebecca Russell Dohrman Sean Rhomberg Cole Hayse Grant Guy Argent we will rehearse during Jazz tomorrow. You will need Sir Duke, Funky Struttin, and Gospel John. We will set up during jazz on Friday. Your call time will be 6:30 ready to play by 7pm. Dress in all black.

This Weekend, our Jazz Band will be performing at the UMSL Jazz festival. This event is the last evaluative concert of the season. The students have been working extremely hard on challenging music. I can’t wait to show them off! Below is the itinerary for the concerts and the festival:

These minutes did not get emailed to the general membership prior to the March meeting as is our usual practice. We will distribute both the February Minutes and the March Minutes together as soon as the March Minutes are ready for publication.
Please review your solo and ensemble info sheet and times. I will see you tomorrow. Don’t forget your instrument after school. Or mouthpiece Dominic Schneider 😉 Judges copy MUST BE NUMBERED.
The sign up for Art in Motion is on my door. I need EVERY available kid on that day.
Woodwind choir rehearsal on Monday the 6th is moved to 5pm. We will rehearse until 7pm (pit final rehearsal.
Symphonic has their first contest on Monday. Please review the itinerary and make sure field trip forms are signed and turned in before we leave.
