Our Knight Jazz Band will perform this Thursday evening, Feb 22nd, at the “All Howell Jazz Concert” at 7pm at Francis Howell Central. The performance will also feature the Jazz Bands of Francis Howell High & Francis Howell Central. Come on out and cheer for FHN!
Many thanks to our awesome parent volunteers who organized, set up & chaperoned the Winter Dance last evening. It was a fun night, with lots of smiles, good food & dancing!

Dear Knightpride Families,
Our monthly Band Booster meeting is tomorrow evening at 7pm in the auditorium. The meeting is mandatory for all families and attendance will be taken. Mr. Mike Janes with the FHN Activities Office will be with us to address school policy regarding the overnight trip.
In addition, you may also order/pick up Scrip cards for FFC fundraising (order form attached to this email) and order/pay for Show Shirts at this meeting.

FHN Band Boosters
I will be at the Parents Booster meeting on Tue. July 18 with everyone’s gift cards they ordered. I will also be taking new orders. Attached is an order form. There are a few changes:
Walgreens cards are currently not available.
The bonus for Cracker Barrel cards is now 8%.
There are 2 new vendors available:
* Oberweis — 8% bonus, $10 cards
* Sephora — 5% bonus, $20 cards
Finally, there are 22 vendors offering bonuses for the next 2 orders (July 18 and August 1). I have highlighted these vendors on the order form.

Parents and Fans:
Attached you will find an order form for the 2017 FHN Marching Band show shirts.
If you are new to Band, this shirt is an awesome way to show school spirit and “know where you belong” with other FHN band fans.
How to place an order:
Print and complete Marching Band Show Shirt Order Form, include payment (Cash or check-make checks payable to FHNBB).
Orders may be dropped off the following ways:
- Attend mandatory band meeting 7/18/17
- Meet me at drop off/pick up for evening Band Camp on Thursday 7/20 or Friday 7/20.
- Ask your student to drop order in Forms Box in the band room any time before 7/20/17.
In an effort to deliver shirts prior to Black and Gold Day (8/12/17) all orders must be received by Friday 7/21/17.
The Band Student will receive 1 T-shirt at no cost to them.

Marching Band Camp starts in another week!! Band camp starts on July 17th and goes until July 28th. We will be providing a snack everyday during camp at 10:00 in the morning. If you would like to volunteer your time please feel free to meet around 9:50 up on the practice field. From set up to tear down the whole process takes no longer than 30 minutes.
If you would like to donate snacks…please feel free to do so!!! We greatly appreciate any donations for the kids!! You can send them with your kids in the morning if you would like….just label that it is for band camp and have your kiddo put it in the band room, and Julie or myself will grab them!! We need goldfish, cheez its, pretzels, animal crackers, grapes, clementines, Popsicles (freeze pops) etc….they will eat anything really!! PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS PEANUT FREE!!!!The bulk size items work best, then we can put them in individual baggies (which baggies would be a great donation too…snack size)!!!
Please remember to send your kid with a lunch…as this is just a snack that is provided
I will also be sending out a sign up genius for the pizza party at the end of band camp which will be on Friday July 28th during dinner break…a sign up genius and more info on that to follow.
